Removed and sandblasted the fenders, cut out rusted areas and welded in patch pieces. *

(This was rusted through in several places--compare to 2003 pictures!) *

Then body filler, lots of careful sanding, then primer and a few coats of lacquer, wet-sanding between coats. Why not?! *

That nasty hole just behind the headlight: gone! The paint is not a perfect match, but it will do for now. *
